The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the California Department of Fish & Wildlife (CDFW) for the operation of the Nimbus Fish Hatchery Visitors Center in Gold River, CA; a firm-fixed price contract that includes a base year and four (4) option years, under the authority of FAR 13.501. The 1953 Plan for the Protection and Maintenance of Salmon and Steelhead in the American River identifies CDFW as the sole operator of the Nimbus Fish Hatchery Facilities. A sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Firms believing they can provide these services above must provide a written capability statement to the Contracting Officer with supporting evidence that demonstrates the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received within five (5) calendar days of the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the direction of the government. Information received in response to this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should be emailed to the Government point of contact for this acquisition at mdawson@usbr.gov , no other submission will be accepted. Responses should include: 1) Company name, address, DUNS number, and point of contact name of email address. 2) Identify business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS Code 611710, Educational Support Services, which is $16,500,000.00. 3) Information that would demonstrate that your business has the capability and authorization to perform these services at the Nimbus Fish Hatchery Visitors Center in Gold River, CA.
