The Department of Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Interior Region 10, California ¿ Great Basin (CGB), Construction Acquisitions Office located in Sacramento, California intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), soliciting from a single source, and enter into a firm fixed price purchase order with Cascade Pump Company to purchase two (2) pumps for vertical pumping units in support of the Delta Mendota Canal (DMC) ¿ California (CA) Aqueduct Intertie Pumping Plant, Central Valley Project, California under the authority of FAR 13.501. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The NAICS code is 333914, Measuring, Dispensing, and Other Pumping Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees. Firms believing they can satisfy the requirements to provide pumps from Cascade Pump Company as listed above may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. All responses received within six (6) calendar days of the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. All responses to this notice of intent identifying capability to provide Cascade equipment must be submitted so that they are received at srall@usbr.gov no later than April 13, 2020 at 12:00 PM, Pacific Time.
