Purchase of a confidential, non-exclusive license to use data from 8 existing 2D seismic reflection lines recorded in the northern Sacramento Valley, California. Seismic reflection data shall be provided electronically, in both SEGY and TIFF formats Field Shot Records for the licensed lines shall be provided electronically in SEGY format, if available, or as scanned original documents in PDF format. Electronic data shall be delivered via a secure FTP site provided by Reclamation. Reclamation¿s license for the data shall be for a period of at least 25 years, and shall include the right to reprocess and interpret the data, either internally or by Reclamation¿s contractors, data processors, and consultants. The license shall allow Reclamation the right to have the data and derivative works be reviewed by external experts, consultant review panels, or other governmental agencies. A non-disclosure agreement will be used in such cases if required by the licensor. The license shall further allow Reclamation the right to publicly release geologic interpretations based on the data, and such releases may include Reclamation reports, published journal articles, and conference presentations.
