The US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), Mid-Pacific Region, intends to award a firm-price price purchase order with a base and four (4) option years on a sole source basis to Waste Management (WM), Incorporated under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The City of Klamath Falls currently has a franchise agreement with Waste Management, Inc. to provide waste disposal services to residents and businesses in the Klamath Falls area. Under this contract, Waste Management will collect, transport and dispose of solid waste from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Klamath Basin Area Office on a scheduled basis. The place of performance will be at 6600 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls, Oregon 97603. Firms that can provide the services must submit written notice to the Contracting Office below and must provide evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent¿s ability to meet the stated requirement. This is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed within 5 days from the date of the publication of this notice. Responses shall include the firm¿s Dun and Bradstreet number and Tax Identification Number. Firms shall identify their business size (small, other than small, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS code 562111 with a size standard of $38.5M.
