The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Reclamation has a requirement to purchase direct replacement parts for the Boskar Trash Rake system for the Yakima Field Office. This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. We anticipate issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) by December 12, 2024, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. Reclamation intends to award one firm firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1725Q0020, (written) is approximately the Second week of December 2024. The anticipated closing date is the fourth week of December. The anticipated award date is the first week of January. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the closing of this solicitation. This service will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.

The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research. The Government will entertain question concerning this market research. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of businesses to provide mechanical and electrical parts for a Reclamation-owned Boskar Trash Rake system. Potential offers having technical capabilities necessary to meet the needs of the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via email. The capability statement must include the following: 1) Company name and point of contact information. 2) UEI Number 3) Business size whether large or small. If small please provide socio-economic status such as (8(A), HUBZONE, SDVOSB, ETC.) Responses are due no later than 17:00, PT, Thursday, November 29, 2024, and shall be electronically submitted to Paula Gross at pgross@usbr.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition.
