Presolicitation Notice - Ringlock Scaffolding The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) requires the purchase of Ringlock Scaffolding for Grand Coulee, Washington. This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 332323 - Ornamental and Architectural Metal Work Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. The product service code is 5440 - Scaffolding Equipment and Concrete Forms. IAW FAR 52.225-1 Buy American Supplies Clause is applicable to this requirement The Government requires twenty-nine different types of parts for ringlock scaffolding. Some of the parts include, Swivel Jacks, different size Rosettes, Horizontal Ledgers, Steel Planks, Bay Braces, different size Tubes, Ladders, and Shipping Containers. Reclamation intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1725Q0009, (written) is approximately the second week in February 2025. The anticipated closing date is the fourth week in February 2025. The anticipated award date is the second week in March 2025, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the closing of the solicitation. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. This product will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation. All firms responding to this Sources Sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research. The Government will entertain question concerning this market research. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of businesses to provide Ringlock scaffolding parts that are manufactured in the United States for the Grand Coulee Dam in Washington State. The capability statement must include the following: 1) Company name and point of contact information. 2) UEI Number 3) Business size whether large or small. If small please provide size/certification (to include 8(A), HUBZONE, SDVOSB, ETC.) 4) Provide place of manufacture of the Ringlock scaffolding parts. Responses are due no later than 17:00 PM, PT, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, and shall be electronically submitted to Terry Mest at tmest@usbr.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this sources sought or any follow-up information requests.
