Presolicitation Notice - Heavy Duty Equipment Trailers The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) has a need for two Heavy Duty Equipment Trailers at Grand Coulee, Washington in accordance with specifications. One new, Heavy Equipment Trailer, 40-Ton Capacity, Flatbed (Deck-Over), Traveling Axle, Gooseneck, 8'-6" (W) x 41' (L) w/ Flat Approach Plate, Dual-Axle, Air Brakes (on all Axles), w/ Winch. One new, Heavy Equipment Trailer, 55-Ton Capacity, Flatbed (Deck-Over), Traveling Axle, Gooseneck, 8'-6" (W) x 48' (L) w/ Flat Approach Plate, Tri-Axle, Air Brakes (on all Axles), w/ Winch. This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 336212: Truck Trailer manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees. The product service code is 2330: Trailers. Reclamation intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1724Q0016, (written) is approximately the fourth week in December 2023. The anticipated closing date is the second week in January 2024. The anticipated award date is the fourth week in January 2024, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the closing of the solicitation. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. This service will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
