All firms responding to this Sources Sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research. The Government will entertain question concerning this market research. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of business to provide a medium sized wheel loader. Also please provide information as to whether the proposed wheel loader is from a small or large business manufacturer, and where the wheel loader is manufactured. Some of the specifications are; - Minimum Operating Weight 42,300 LBS - Diesel Engine - Emissions Tier 4/Stage V - Net Power 250 HP Minimum - Maximum Height top of Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) 11.4 feet - Overall Length without bucket less than 23 feet - Counterweight greater than 1400 KG (3086 lbs) - 5-Yard bucket w/ bolt on cutting edge - Radial tires 23.5R25 Potential offers having technical capabilities necessary to meet the needs of the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via email. The capability statement must include the following: 1) Company name and point of contact information. 2) UEI Number 3) Business size whether large or small. If small please provide size/certification (to include 8(A), HUBZONE, SDVOSB, ETC.) Responses are due no later than 10:00 AM, PD, Wednesday, August 23, 2023, and shall be electronically submitted to Terry Mest at tmest@usbr.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this sources sought or any follow-up information requests.
