The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Reclamation has a need for the remanufacture of the G12 Exciter. The contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, and materials to remanufacture the exciter to an "as new" a condition as is possible, per the statement of work. The Government will use the test forms to evaluate the condition of the exciters. This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. We anticipate issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) by 07/19/2023, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. Reclamation intends to award one firm firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1723Q0054, (written) is approximately the third week of July 2023. The anticipated closing date is the last week of August 2023. The anticipated award date is the second week of February. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the closing of this solicitation. This requirement will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
