This SOURCES SOUGHT notice is for informational and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. It does not constitute a Solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research, and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Intent of this notice is to determine the availability of Domestic-made Propane THERMOELECTRIC GENERATORS per below salient characteristics. Power rating at 68 degrees F; 60 watts at 6.7 volts Electrical output 6.7 to 11 volts (Output: terminal block which accepts up to 8 AWG wire. Opening for 3/4 inch conduit in base of cabinet) Fuel requirements: propane, 1.5 gallons per day; max supply pressure: 25 psi; minimum supply pressure NG: 10 psi; minimum supply pressure LPG 15 psi; fuel connection: 1/4-inch male NPT. Operating conditions: Unsheltered operation. Ambient operating temperature: max 115 degrees F; min -40 degrees F. Construction: Cabinet: 304 stainless steel; cooling: natural convection; fuel system: brass, aluminum and stainless steel. The NAICS code is 335312, Motor and Generator Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees. Potential offerors having the capabilities necessary to meet the needs of this requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via email to dricher@usbr.gov. Submissions must include the following: 1. Company Name and Point of Contact Information 2. Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) 3. Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc) 4. Product specification literature, including Manufacturer of generator, Part No., and location of manufacture and assembly. Responses are due no later than 5:00 PM ET, Wednesday, May 24 2023 and shall be submitted to Don Richer via Email at dricher@usbr.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought notice or any follow-up information requests.
