The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Reclamation has a need for janitorial services for the Columbia-Cascades Area Office and Yakima Field Office, Yakima, Washington. The square footage for these services is approximately 35,930 which encompasses six buildings. This acquisition will be an Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) set-aside. Reclamation intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1723Q0027, (written) is approximately the second week of April 2023. The anticipated closing date is the last week of April. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and be certified or pending certification as a EDWOSB on the Small Business Administration¿s Small Dynamic Business Search website prior to the closing of this solicitation. The period of performance shall be for base year with four (4) 1-year option years. The anticipated period of performance is: Base Year: June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024 Option Year One: June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025 Option Year Two: June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026 Option Year Three: June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027 Option Year Four: June 1, 2027 to May 31, 2028 Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services will be included in the solicitation and resulting contract. This service will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
