Exciter Refurbishment for Grand Coulee Power Office, Grand Coulee, WA The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Reclamation has a need for the refurbishment of the G12 Exciter. The contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, and materials to test and inspect the exciter pieces in accordance with the BOR supplied test forms, and to recondition the exciter to an ¿as new¿ a condition as is possible. The Government will use the test forms to evaluate the condition of the exciters. This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. We anticipate issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) by 01/30/2023, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. Reclamation intends to award one firm firm-fixed-price with a Time and Material component contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1723Q0020, (written) is approximately the last week of January 2023. The anticipated closing date is the first week of February, 2023. The anticipated award date is the second week of February. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the closing of this solicitation. This requirement will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
