The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) has a requirement for the sampling and testing of the water at the South Fork of the Flathead River at the Hungry Horse Field Office in Hungry Horse, MT 59919. This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. We anticipate issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) in by February 17, 2021, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. Reclamation intends to award one firm firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1721Q0034, (written) is approximately the third week of February, 2021. The anticipated closing date is the first week of March. The anticipated award date is the third week of March. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the closing of this solicitation. The initial period of performance (base year) shall be Award of Contract award date plus 12 months, with four (4) 1-year option years to renew. The anticipated period of performance is: Base Year: April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. The actual work period is only May 1, 2021 to September 30, 2021. Option Year One: April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023. The actual work period is only May 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022. Option Year Two: April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024. The actual work period is only May 1, 2023 to September 30, 2023. Option Year Three: April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. The actual work period is only May 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024. Option Year Four: April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. The actual work period is only May 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025. This service will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
