The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) has a requirement for the rental of a single snow plow with orbital spreader at the Grand Coulee Dam in Grand Coulee, WA 99133. This acquisition is 100 percent SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. We anticipate issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) by November 19, 2020, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. Reclamation intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1721Q0008, (written) is approximately the third week of November 2020. The anticipated closing date is the first week of December. The anticipated award date is the second week of December. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to awarding any contract resulting from this solicitation. The initial period of performance (base year) shall be Award of Contract award date plus nine (9) months, with one 1-year option year to renew. The anticipated period of performance is: Base Year: December 10, 2020 to October 14, 2021. The actual work period is only December 14, 2020 to March 12, 2021. Option Year One. October 15, 2021 to March 31, 2022, the actual work period is only October 15, 2021 to March 31, 2022. This rental will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
