All firms responding to this Sources Sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain question concerning this market research. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of business to provide a unit that will paint stripes on roads and highways. The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement to acquire an apparatus that will paint stripes on roads and highways in and around the Grand Coulee Dam and surrounding areas. Specifications the Government is look for is for the unit to be a hydraulic, airless system, with heavy-duty steel frame skid-mount for easy installation/removal from pickup or flatbed truck, an adjustable gun arm w/ dual wheel support, 2-pump/2-color system, a self-contained bead tank, High-Definition camera system, toggle-switch controller capable of defined presets, and the entire system able to be operated by the vehicle driver. The Government will also evaluate any other Paint Striping Equipment that is of like form, fit and function. Potential offers having technical capabilities necessary to meet the needs of the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via email. The capability statement must include the following: 1) Company name and point of contact information. 2) DUNS Number 3) Business size whether large or small. If small please provide size/certification (to include 8(A), HUBZONE, SDVOSB, ETC.) 4) Brief explanation of the type of Highway Paint Striping equipment your company manufactures or resells and its capabilities. 5) If reselling, include the brand and company name of the equipment you are reselling Responses are due no later than 7:00 AM, PST, Monday, April 15, 2019, and shall be electronically submitted to Terry Mest at tmest@usbr.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be mad for any cost associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
