Sources Sought Synopsis The Bureau of Reclamation is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for brand-name only Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) manufactured protection relays and associated equipment. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 335314 Relay and Industrial Control Manufacturing with a small business size of 750 or fewer employees. The applicable Product Service Code assigned to this procurement is 6150. A DRAFT specification including part numbers is attached. *NOTE* Location of where the product may be required at a minimum: Palisades Dam, Idaho There is currently no solicitation. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform this contract, please provide the following information: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information. 2) DUNS number and/or SAM Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number. 3) Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB etc.) *If WOSB please indicate if the company is SBA certified or pending SBA certification. The certification status can no longer be self-certified. 4) A capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort. 5) Anticipated delivery time after award. The government will use this response to determine market capacity to: 1) Provide the product consistent in scope and scale with the description in this notice and otherwise anticipated; 2) Secure and apply the resources required to successfully deliver the product for similar requirements; 3)The market research responses to this sources sought will help determine the future set-aside for this requirement.
