Pre-Solicitation Notice This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. This is not a request for proposals, quotations, or bids and no purchase order will be awarded from this notice. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.2.3(a), this is the official synopsis that the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) intends to issue a written Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about the third week of February for crane service bodies to be installed on two (2) trucks owned by the BOR. A brief synopsis of the services required is as follows: The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, consumable supplies to install two (2) service bodies and cranes on two (2) trucks provided by the BOR. The Contractor shall provide adequate personnel with the necessary expertise, qualifications, and experience to assure performance of the work in accordance with sound, safe, and efficient management practices. Installation must occur within 150 miles of Boise. The solicitation number is 140R1022Q0010. The solicitation, amendments, and any other information will be issued in electronic format only and will be available through the Federal Government Electronic Posting System, www.SAM.gov. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disk, faxes, email, etc.) will be provided. Paper solicitations will not be available. This solicitation will be a Total Small Business set aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336211 Motor Vehicle Body Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 2510. This solicitation will result in the awarding of a Firm Fixed Price contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13 for an approximate period of performance from date of award to August 1, 2022.
