In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.2.3(a), this is the official synopsis that the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) intends to issue a written Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about April 26, 2021 for Aggregate Base Course Material to build shoreline protection at two (2) locations on Salmon La Sac Road in Ronald Washington. A brief synopsis of the services required is as follows: The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, consumable supplies to haul 680 cubic yards of rip rap material from Ellensburg, WA to Cle Elum Reservoir. The rip rap will be used to construct shoreline protection at two (2) locations on Salmon La Sac Road in Ronald Washington. The Contractor shall provide all consumable supplies. The Contractor shall provide adequate personnel with the necessary expertise, qualifications, and experience to assure performance of the work in accordance with sound, safe, and efficient management practices. The solicitation number is 140R1021Q0035. The solicitation, amendments, and any other information will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about June 11, 2021 through the Federal Government Electronic Posting System, www.SAM.gov. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disk, faxes, email, etc.) will be provided. Paper solicitations will not be available. This solicitation will be a Total Small Business set aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 212319 ¿ Other Crushed and Broken Stone Mining and Quarrying with a size standard of 500 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 5610. This solicitation will result in the awarding of a Firm Fixed Price contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13 for a period of performance from August 3, 2021 to September 15, 2021. Award expected to be made on or around July 15, 2021. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by this agency.
