The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region, Palisades Dam Power Plant has a requirement to remove five existing heaters and install five new, Government Furnished, Thybar T-Flex wall mounted vertical downflow heaters. Work is located at Palisades Dam Power Plant located at 3933 Swan Valley, Hwy 26, Irwin, ID 83428 in Bonneville County. This requirement will be advertised as a firm-fixed price, request for quotations in accordance with FAR Part 13 and 15 procedures. The contract shall be administered as a simplified construction contract in accordance with FAR Part 36. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this project is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a Small Business Size Standard of $14 Million. This procurement will be a total small business set-aside. The anticipated order of magnitude for this project is less than $250,000.00. Offers will be accepted from all responsive and responsible Small Business concerns. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM). Contractors shall note that this solicitation (written) is anticipated to be issued in the month of March 2021. When the solicitation is issued it will be available electronically at www.beta.sam.gov.
