In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.2.3(a), this is the official synopsis that the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about March 11, 2021 for Pest Control Services at the Minidoka Dam Field Station located at 951 E. Minidoka Dam Rd, Rupert, ID 83350 and Palisades Dam located at 3933 Swan Valley Hwy 26, Irwin, ID 83428. A brief synopsis of the services required is as follows: The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, consumable supplies to perform ¿pest control services¿ to maintain effective control of spiders, flying/stinging insects, ants, snakes, and mice for each area listed below in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. The Contractor shall provide all consumable supplies. The Contractor shall provide adequate personnel with the necessary expertise, qualifications, and experience to assure performance of the work in accordance with sound, safe, and efficient management practices. The Product Service Code (PSC) is S207. In accordance with FAR 52.237-1, a site visit will be conducted. The date and time will be provided in the solicitation. This solicitation will result in the awarding of two (2) separate Firm Fixed Price performance-based contracts under Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13 for a one (1) year base period and four (4) one (1) year option periods. The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region, intends to solicit quotes for two (2) Firm Fixed Price Commercial Item Service purchase orders(s) for Pest Control Services to include spiders, flying/stinging insects (excluding honeybees), ants, venomous snakes, racoons, ground squirrels, pack rats, and mice. The required service areas include Reclamation lands around: ¿ Minidoka Dam located in Minidoka County, Idaho. Area to be treated includes a total of 19 locations (buildings/sewage treatment lagoons/switch yards). ¿ Palisades Dam located in Bonneville County, Idaho.
