The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, Columbia Basin Project, Washington has a requirement for work to include the construction of approximately 2.3 miles of access road from Pinto Ridge Road to the existing access road near the Bacon Siphons. Included in the realignment of two sections of and the improvement of the access road along the Main Canal is the demolition of an existing 4-strand barbed wire fence, installation of traffic signs, installation of precast concrete vehicle barriers (jersey barriers) and installation of 4 ¿ strand barbed wire fence. Work is located approximately twenty miles east of Soap Lake, Washington, in Grant County. Work is anticipated to be completed September 2022. This requirement will be competed as a full and open invitation for bid. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310 and the small business size standard, applicable to this project is $39.5 million. Bids will be accepted from all responsive and responsible businesses. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be issued on or about March 22, 2021 at www.fedconnect.net and beta.SAM.gov, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. The solicitation will close approximately 30 days after its issuance. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. To take advantage of business opportunities with the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) and the Department of the Interior (DOI) you must register your firm with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Reclamation intends to award one firm fixed-price contract. In accordance with FAR 36.204(f), the magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
