Description: Umatilla Field Office has a requirement for rebuilding (1)2,500 HP, VFD, U.S. Motor, located at the Columbia River Pumping Plant near Hermiston, OR off HWY 730. March 12, 2020 This is a pre-solicitation announcement only. This is synopsis of an upcoming solicitation, 140R1020Q0024, VFD Motor Rebuild. The Bureau of Reclamation, Interior Region 9, Columbia-Pacific Northwest, intends to solicit quotes for 1 Brand U.S Motor, 2,500 HP, Synchronized (VFD) Motor Rebuild for the Umatilla Field Office, Columbia River Pumping Plant, near Hermiston, Oregon, 97383. The work to include rebuilding and testing of the motor, pick-up and delivery, re-installation/trim balancing, as well as a crane for lifting. The resulting purchase order will be a firm fixed price commercial supply. The contractor(s) shall furnish all labor, transportation, facilities, equipment, material, and supervision required to successfully perform the work required in the purchase order. Pursuant to Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Reclamation intends to issue a written Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or about the second week of March 2020. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $8.0M. This opportunity will be posted on beta.SAM and FedConnect Quotes will only be accepted via email only. Any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of the quote. Currently, SAM is located at beta.sam.gov. SAM is a Federal Government owned and operated FREE website located at www.SAM.gov. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price purchase order during the last week in March, 2020. The anticipated delivery date to return the refurbished unit is April 30, 2020. Reclamation will consider all responsible sources who submit a timely quote that conforms to the solicitation. All invoices for this procurement must be submitted through the Department of Treasury¿s Invoice Processing Platform System (IPP).
