THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF AN UPCOMING SOLICITATION The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Regional Office intends to solicit quotations for crane rental with operator and rigging crew for the Schaake Habitat Improvement Project near Ellensburg, Washington (Kittitas County). The work required includes delivery of equipment to the project site, a rental period between one (1) week to one (1) month, unloading precast concrete vented culvert sections for Reclamation personnel installation, and removal of equipment upon the completion of work. Pursuant to Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or around December 6, 2019. Quotes will be due on or around January 6, 2020. Reclamation anticipates issuing the RFQ set-aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 532490 and the associated Small Business Size Standard is $35 million. Once the RFQ is issued, Reclamation will consider all responsible sources who submit a timely quote that conforms to the solicitation. Prospective offerors may submit quotes electronically through the System for Award Management (SAM) or email to the Contract Specialist at ccalleja@usbr.gov. As of November 9, 2019, FedBizOpps (formerly located at www.fbo.gov) is now located on the SAM website under ¿Contract Opportunities¿ and can be accessed publicly and through an entity's SAM account. Any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submitting a quote. The SAM is a Federal Government owned and operated FREE website located at https://beta.sam.gov. All invoices for this procurement must be submitted through the Department of Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform System (IPP).
