LYJO RE-ROOF HISTORIC STRUCTURES
This project involves reroofing and structural repairs at the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park in Johnson City, Texas, with work at the Boyhood Home and Johnson Settlement locations. The scope includes removing wood shingles, repairing wood joists and purlins, and installing new synthetic shake roofs on multiple historic structures, as well as lightning protection work. The period of performance runs from August 31, 2026, to June 7, 2027, or 280 days after notice to proceed. The contract is a firm fixed price type, and interested contractors must be registered in SAM. A site visit is scheduled for July 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST at the project locations.
