The RFP due date is extended from Friday, March 24, 2023, to Monday, March 27, 2023, at 2:00pm. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The National Park Service (NPS) at Muir Woods National Monument (MUWO), located in Marin County, California, has a requirement for installation of three separate water diversion systems for three channel work zones, each extending about 400 to 450 LF, within a total reach of channel extending about 3,100 LF. Work includes removal of rock slope protection (RSP) from channel banks, grading some channel banks and the channel bed, and installing large tree trunks per designs as Large Woody Debris (LWD) structures. Work includes demolition and disposal of 460 LF of asphalt trail and a segment of sewer line in a riparian zone. Some soils and RSP will be reused on site, and some will be off-hauled. Work follows restrictions on access to protect resources. Work must be complete before late fall rains initiate the start of salmon spawning season. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, testing, and supplies necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to the solicitation. All work shall be performed in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits required to successfully complete the work. Per FAR 36.204 the project range is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation.
