The National Park Service, Department of the Interior, anticipates issuing a solicitation for the following project. This is a pre-solicitation notice only and does not constitute a solicitation. Accordingly, no response is due at this time, nor will any questions of a technical or contractual nature be answered. Those questions will only be answered via an amendment to the solicitation, once it is issued. Specific instructions on submitting proposals will be contained in the solicitation documents, it is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about January 15, 2021. The entire solicitation package, including all attachments, will be available electronically at https://beta.sam.gov/ Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. The award will be made on a lowest price, technically acceptable basis, to the offeror whose bid is most advantageous to the government. PROJECT SCOPE: The work specified herein includes the preparation, routine painting, and finish work underside of the wooden passenger and hurricane deck overhangs on the Historic Ferry Eureka. The Eureka is moored at Hyde Street Pier, at the foot of Hyde Street, San Francisco, California. Place of Performance: The Hyde Street Pier, at the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (SAFR), which is a unit of the National Park Service. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238320, with a small business size standard of $16.5M. Contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) as a small business for this solicitation¿s NAICS code. Offerors not listed as a small business for the designated NAICS may be deemed ineligible for further consideration for award. Offerors are required to have a DUNS number and an active registration in SAM (www.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. This project is set aside for Total Small Business. The Government award will be based on ¿Lowest Price Technically Acceptable¿. Per FAR 52.228-15, PERFORMANCE & PAYMENT BONDS- CONSTRUCTION, are Required. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 & $250,000. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MATERIAL, LABOR, EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, AND EXPERTISE NEEDED TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT IN ACCORDANCEWITH THE STATEMENT of WORK
