Notice of Intent to Award Modification P00003 to 140P8618P0077 The National Park Service, Golden Gate National Recreation Area Major Acquisition Buying Office in San Francisco, CA intends to issue a modification to current Firm Fixed Price purchase order 140P8618P0077/P00003 to Alcatraz Island Service, LLC., Pier 3 The Embarcadero, San Francisco, CA 94111 for delivery of diesel and unleaded fuel for Alcatraz Island located in San Francisco, CA. This Justification and Approval (J&A) is written in accordance with AP&P 1443.06-01 to document the approval of additional work under "GOGA Diesel Fuel and Unleaded Gasoline Contract" 140P8618P0077, Option Year 1. The anticipated modification award date is April 22,2020. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 324110, Petroleum Refineries. Alcatraz Island Service, LLC., currently supplies and deliveries fuel to Alcatraz Island under NPS contract 140P8618P0077. This modification is necessary to allow an increase in gallons of diesel fuel and alternate delivery methodologies for a rental generator, the island¿s only current source of power. Providing funding for this additional fuel will allow the NPS to power Alcatraz visitor operations, including critical life safety and aids to navigation.
