The National Park Service has a requirement for one (1) trailer mounted, diesel powered, Tier 3 emergency backup generator at Yosemite National Park, located in Mariposa County, California. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2023-02 (effective March 16, 2023). The solicitation number is 140P8523Q0024 and is issued as a Request for Quotation for a firm fixed price commercial items contract. The performance period is from May 15, 2023, to August 1, 2023, a period of nine months. This solicitation is a 100% total small business set-aside in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. The NACIS code is 335312 with an associated small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The government intends to award a single firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror (pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1) based on price, technical capability, and past experience.
