The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service - Interior Regions 8, 9, 10, and 12 intends to solicit quotations from qualified firms for a firm-fixed price service contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful operation of the Visitor Transportation Services for Yosemite National Park, Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Work includes the operation and maintenance of Government owned Visitor Transportation vehicles. The basis of award is the lowest price determined fair and reasonable to the responsible offeror pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1. One (1) firm fixed price contract will be awarded. The anticipated award date is May 1, 2022. The estimated start date is May 26, 2022 and estimated completion date for the base year is May 25, 2023. If a large business is selected for this contract, it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 Alt II regarding the requirement for a small business subcontracting plan on that part of the work it intends to subcontract. The North American Industrial Classification System code (NAICS) is 487110. The small business size standard is $8.0 Million. The subcontracting goals for this contract are at least 44.0% of the subcontracted amount must be placed with Small Businesses, 5.0% with Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), 5.0% with Women-Owned Small Business, 3.0% with Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business, and 3.0% with Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The plan must be approved by the Government as a condition of contract award. Offerors are required to have an active registration in SAM (www.sam.gov) at the time of submission of a quotation to be eligible for award. The solicitation and attachments will be posted electronically on or about March 18, 2022, at www.sam.gov. All amendments will also be posted to this website.
