This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-01 (dated November 12, 2019). It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The solicitation number is 140P8520Q0005, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. The NAICS code is 325180 an associated small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This acquisition is Full and Open Competition. DESCRIPTION. The National Park Service (NPS), Yosemite National Park, has a requirement for supplying and delivering Sodium Hypochlorite and Sodium Carbonate on an ongoing basis for use by Utilities Branch, Yosemite National Park. These chemicals are used at 20+ water systems and 8+ wastewater systems throughout Yosemite. Because chemicals have a limited shelf life to ensure strength, multiple deliveries to multiple areas will be required annually. All deliveries must be made no later than 7 days after receipt of a delivery order. Locations of deliveries are specified in the Scope of Work (Attachment No. 02). PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will cover services for one base year and four option years at the sole discretion of the Government. PROCUREMENT TYPE. The government intends to award a single, fixed price supply contract. Award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable quote received in response to this Request for Quote. It is anticipated for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract to be effective for a period of five years. The IDIQ total amount (including options) shall not exceed $500,000. The successful IDIQ awardee will be guaranteed a minimum of $10,000 of work as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. Pursuant to FAR Part 16.504, the minimum quantity that will be ordered as a result of this procurement as well as the maximum quantity reasonably expected to be ordered, will be included in the Request for Quote.
