Notice of Intent to Award The National Park Service, PORE MABO Contracting Office in Point Reyes Station, CA intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Filtration Technology Inc.; 2218 South Crosscreek Lane; Boise, ID 83706 for the purchase of three types Strainrite water filters for Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve located in Josephine County, Oregon. These filters are required to maintain required levels of purification the park, required by the State of Oregon. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 221310, Water Supply and Irrigation Systems. Filtration Technology is the exclusive distributor for Strainrite filters for State of Oregon. The estimated total cost is $29,949.00. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
