This is a combined synopsis/solicitati... The purpose of this amendment is to change the delivery site for Line Item 10: 4,000 tons 1 ½ inch Base Aggregate. The response date is extended to May 21, 2020. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the supply and delivery of approximately 6,500 tons of 1 ½ inch base aggregate, a commercial item. Furnish hard, durable particles or fragments of crushed aggregate base conforming to the size and quantity requirements for crushed aggregate material normally used locally in the construction and maintenance of highways by Federal agencies. Furnish quarried crushed aggregate with a maximum size of 1 ½ inch as determined by AASHTO T27 and T1. Furnish crushed aggregate uniformly graded from coarse to fine and free of organic matter, lumps, balls of clay and other deleterious matter. Aggregate must be derived from natural stone formation which has been mined or quarried: no recycled material or material derived from river run material will be accepted.
