SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The National Park Service is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of any firm eligible to compete in full and open competition under NAICS code 532412 with a Small Business Size Standard $ 35m for an upcoming requirement for Stehekin District, North Cascades National Park in Stehekin, WA. ******* Project Description: Equipment Rental ¿ Bruch Mower. Specifications, features and salient characteristics for a mower that will fit the requirement are Brush mower, circular saw, or mulcher (mulcher preferred) capable of cutting woody brush up to 4¿ (6¿ preferred). Boom mounted, capable of reaching vertical sidehill up to 12¿ tall, with enough flexibility to avoid obstacles such as rocks. Mounted to self- propelled machine, e.g. tractor or excavator, with enough hydraulic capacity to operate attachment. All safety features installed and in good condition, including operator shields appropriate to the attachment, e.g. ½¿ Lexan for mulcher. ****** Responses to this announcement are requested from (1) SBA certified Small Business HubZone firms; (2) Small Business firms certified by a Small Business Administration (SBA) district or regional office for participation in the 8(a)program; (3) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small Business firms; (4) Woman Owned Small Businesses; (5) Small Business; and (6) any firm eligible to compete in full and open competition.****** Interested firms shall submit: (1) NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER OF THE FIRM (including DUNS NUMBER) (2) A CAPABILITY STATEMENT addressing the firm¿s ability to perform the required work.
