This is an amendment to a previously synopsized Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the National Park Service, Fort Vancouver National Historic Site to refurbish the historic McLoughlin House outdoor fountain pool in Oregon City, OR. Work includes replacing the existing concrete lining including removal of the dedication plaque and pedestal, new rebar and shotcrete, install new watertight fitting for electrical and water, sand new concrete surface to smooth, seal with 5-year acrylic penetrating sealer. Location is 713 Center Street, Oregon City, OR 97045. Refer to all attachments to this solicitation. This Amendment no. 0002 is necessary to extend the response date and add a new attachment. The response date is extended to provide further opportunity for any interested party to submit a quote, in an effort to maximize and obtain adequate competition in a small business set-aside. One new attachment is added to this solicitation as "Attachment 6 Fountain Conservation and Restoration Report" which may be useful in preparation of a quote. The solicitation response date is extended by 5 business days, changed from "5 pm PDT August 23, 2022" to "5 pm PDT August 30, 2022." The target work period is 45 days upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed (anticipating work to occur in late September into October/November 2022). OTHER INFO. This project is being solicited and awarded as a total (100%) Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238990 ¿All Other Specialty Trade Contractors¿ with an associated small business size standard of $16.5 million. The magnitude of construction for this project is less than $25,000. A single firm-fixed price construction contract will be awarded as a result of the solicitation.
