This is an amendment to a previously synopsized Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the National Park Service to provide conservation treatment and stabilization of cultural material items from the Nez Perce National Historical Park (NEPE) museum collection by a qualified conservator. This Amendment no. 01 is necessary to announce a scheduled site visit for interested parties to attend at NEPE to take a look at the museum objects that need treated. Individual site visits will not be accommodated. If you're interested in seeing the objects in person, please attend the scheduled site visit on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm. PRE-QUOTE SITE VISIT. An organized pre-quote site is scheduled for all interested parties on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 2:00 pm (PDT). Interested parties shall RSVP by email to phaedra_fuller@nps.gov, and cc: Kristine_Leier@nps.gov. When you RSVP, please include your company name and provide a point of contact name with mobile phone number. Please RSVP by August 1, 2022. Attendees shall meet at the entrance area of the Nez Perce National Historical Park Spalding Unit Visitor Center located at 39063 US Highway 95, Spalding, ID 83540. Kristine will be leading the site visit, noting, and answering any questions. However, if answers cannot be provided during the site visit, then they will be noted, and answered in the site visit notes that will be posted as a separate attachment to the solicitation, as an amendment to the solicitation within a few days of the site visit. If questions arise immediately after the site visit, please send them in writing by email to Phaedra Fuller, Contracting Officer (email: phaedra_fuller@nps.gov). It is strongly encouraged that anyone interested in potentially submitting a quote for this project, attend the site visit. In no event shall failure to inspect the museum objects constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Face masks may be required for attending the site visit so please be prepared.
