Amendment #1 to RFQ #140P8321Q0021 transmits: - Attachment 5, Site Visit Notes and Clarifications 1-7. - Site visit register. Request for Quotations #140P8322Q0021 is for construction of a non-residential septic system sized for 625 gallons per day to support the Quinault Rain Forest Ranger Station and Visitor Center comfort station. The new system consists of a septic tank, pump chamber, and pressurized dispersal mound drainfield with pump control panel. The Contractor shall furnish all needed labor, equipment, supplies, materials, insurance, fees, lodging, and transportation to perform the work. Target performance period is summer 2022. The RFQ is the file named Sol_140P8322Q0021 and includes Standard Form 1442, Sections A through M, clauses, and provisions; the full solicitation includes all associated attachments hyperlinked to this notice posted at SAM.gov. Hyperlinks to these documents, plus forms to return with the quote, are near the bottom of the notice. PROJECT LOCATION: The project is in Olympic National Park on the southwestern Olympic Peninsula of Washington; the physical address 902 North Shore Road, Amanda Park, WA 98526. Maps and information about the park may be viewed at www.nps.gov/OLYM. SITE VISIT: NPS will host an organized site visit on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 10:00 am. Potential quoters are strongly encouraged to attend to get familiar with the location and logistics. DETAILS: This is a best value procurement set-aside for small business concerns in accordance with FAR Part 19.5. The NAICS code for this project is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. To qualify as a small business under this NAICS code, the firm must be organized as for-profit, with average annual gross revenue for the past five years under $39.5 million. All work will be performed under a single firm fixed price contract subject to the Contract Wage Requirements (Construction). In accordance with FAR Part 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Prior to the solicitation closing date and time, the prime contractor's (quoter's) SAM registration status must be "Active" at www.SAM.gov. Prospective quoters must visit SAM.gov periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents; no notifications will be sent. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. All eligible responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the National Park Service.
