This is an amendment to a previously synopsized Request for certified weed-free hay for Olympic National Park, Port Angeles, WA. This Amendment no. 001 is necessary to change the Period of Performance, Price Schedule, Clauses, and Instructions on what to submit (how to acknowledge amendments) in the Combined Synopsis-Solicitation Full Text document. These changes are reflected in Attachment no. 3, REVISED Synopsis-Solicitation Full Text dated 2/3/22. Previous Attachment no. 1 dated 1/25/22 is now obsolete and replaced by Attachment no. 3. Within Attachment no. 3, the following sections are changed: SECTION 03-PERIOD OF PERFORMACNE is changed from one base year plus up to two option years between 2022 and 2024, to only one season in 2022. Deliveries will be required from April 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022. SECTION 06-PRICE SCHEDULE Part 1 is changed, removing base year plus up to two option years at guaranteed and optional quantities, to now only submitting a single unit price per ton that will be awarded as firm-fixed price for the period of April 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022. SECTION 10-CLAUSES is changed to remove two option clauses no longer applicable: FAR Clause 52.217-6 Option for Increased Quantity and FAR Clause 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. SECTION 12-INSTRUCTIONS TO QUOTERS/WHAT TO INCLUDE IN QUOTE item 12.2 is changed to better explain how to acknowledge solicitation amendments. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING VIA EMAIL submitted to Phaedra_Fuller@nps.gov. Please write in the subject line of the email "140P8320R22Q0011/QUESTION." Quotes are due by 4:30pm (PST) on February 25, 2022 which shall be submitted electronically by email to Phaedra_Fuller@nps.gov. Refer to Attachment no. 3, REVISED Synopsis-Solicitation Terms-Clauses, for full details of what to include in proposal. This solicitation and resulting purchase order is for the federal government and is thus exempt from state sales tax (#140001849). Interested parties are urged to check for any additional amendments. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation.
