The Work of this contract consists of removal and disposal of the Fairholme Boat Dock Fueling System, located on the western shore of Lake Crescent (Olympic National Park). Removal and disposal work includes locating underground (buried) utilities prior to any excavation work, inerting the tanks as needed, removal and disposal of any remaining sludge (varnished fuel) as petroleum waste, removal and disposal of the tank, pumps/dispensers in accordance with US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Washington State Department of Ecology (WADOE) requirements. Grade and compact any excavations required to match adjacent grade. Import, place and contour weed-free soil-less topsoil. Apply native Pacific Northwest grass seed on any disturbed/placed topsoil.
