The Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park intends to issue a solicitation for the repainting of existing fog and center lines between the Nisqually entrance and Paradise on State Route 706, an estimated total of 20 miles. All work will be performed under a single Firm-Fixed Price construction contract subject to the Wage Rate Requirements for Construction, formally known as the Davis-Bacon wage rates. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Receipt of a payment bond, or alternative payment protections will be required within 10 days of contract award. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this project is 237310 and the business size standard is $39.5 million, average annual gross receipts for the past three years. A site visit is scheduled for July 23, participants will meet at the Nisqually Entrance located off of State Route 706 5 miles east of Ashford. The period of performance will be 15 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed, performance is expected to occur between September 9 and September 24, 2020.
