Sources Sought Notice: Curatorial Services for Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Responses Due: Responses to this notice must be submitted to the contacts listed in this notice via email by February 23, 2024. Notice Type: Sources Sought Notice for Curatorial Services Issuing Office: National Park Service, Pacific Islands Network Contract Operations West Project Title: Temporary Relocation, Storage, and Return of Museum Collections for Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Solicitation Number: 140P8224Q0012 Notice: This request seeks to identify potential sources capable of providing curatorial services for the safe temporary relocation, storage, and eventual return of museum collections from the K¿lauea Visitor Center (KVC) at Hawai¿i Volcanoes National Park (HAVO). This service is critical to protect valuable cultural artifacts during renovation works at KVC. It is not a solicitation for bids or proposals at this stage. Please see the attached Performance-Based Work Statement (PWS) for the notional scope of services. The PWS may be revised prior to release of the official solicitation. SAM.gov Registration: All respondents must be registered in SAM.gov per the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996. 2. Specialization: Respondents must specialize in services related to the handling, moving, and storage of museum collections, including experience with artifact packing, transportation, and storage. 3. Small Business Set-Aside Status: This acquisition is intended as a small business set-aside. Relevant NAICS code and size standards will apply. Contract Information: 1. Scope of Services: Detailed in the attached Performance Work Statement, including temporary relocation, storage requirements, and return of collections. 2. Contract Period: Will depend on the accepted offer, with a preference for shorter periods of performance over longer ones.
