This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 140P8220Q0032 is issued as a Request for Quotation Parcels to is to remove non-native trees, shrubs, and grasses including but not limited to kiawe (Prosopis pallida), haole koa (Leucaena leucocephala), klu (Acacia farnesiana), opiuma (Pithecellobium dulce), fountain grass (Pennisetum setaceum), guinea grass (Megathyrsus maximus) and Christmas berry (Schinus terebinthifolius). Non-native vegetation will be cut, and the cut-material loaded into helicopter sling devices into heavy duty bags for later removal by helicopter. Cut stumps and vegetation regrowth will be treated by prescribed herbicide application. The historic properties at each of these parcels are fragile archeological sites, therefore, the cutting, stacking, and bagging of all cut vegetation materials shall be accomplished carefully and shall not cause damage to any of the features of the historic property.
