Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation 140P8220R0003 (1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (2) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Submit written quotes referencing document number 140P8220R0003 in accordance with the instructions in this announcement (3) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 202020-04. (4) This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 481212. The small business size standard is 1,500 employees. (5) This combined solicitation synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial item: Air transportation for the refuse collected at Kalaupapa National Park. (6) Statement of Work: The contractor will provide air transportation for the cubes of non-hazardous, dry refuse from Kalaupapa Airport to the Honolulu Airport and on to final disposal at an approved landfill or waste to energy facility on Oahu. Final disposal may be provided by commercial trash hauling service under sub-contracting arrangement to contractor. Contractor will be responsible for providing any and all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision, permits, licensing and insurance required to accomplish these services, including final disposal. (7) Period of Performance: April 1, 2020 through March 31, 2021 Plus 4 Option Years.
