SYNOPSIS: The National Park Service, ConOps West, has a requirement to upgrade, repair, and rehab the fire alarm and security systems in multiple buildings in Death Valley Scotty Historic District as ... SYNOPSIS: The National Park Service, ConOps West, has a requirement to upgrade, repair, and rehab the fire alarm and security systems in multiple buildings in Death Valley Scotty Historic District as well as provide radio coverage in the tunnel system which currently does not exist. The existing inadequate internet and telecommunications infrastructure to and within the Scotty’s Castle complex was damaged and largely destroyed in the October 2015 flood. This project restores and updates internet access, voice communication, and alarm notifications to the Scotty’s Castle complex which is vital for systems including telephone, internet, radio, security and fire alarm systems. The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238210 with a size standard of $19 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. This project will be solicitated as a total Small Business Set-Aside. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Place of performance will be at Scotty’s Castle withing Death Valley National Park, Inyo County, California. The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued on/or about June 30th, 2025, and will be posted to SAM.gov. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a Unique Entity ID (UEI). Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date.
