The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 221310 with a size standard of $41 Mil. This acquisition will be handled as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Place of performance will be San Bernardino County, California. NPS requires a contractor to replace the cracked outlet piping connecting the fire protection systems 8-inch diameter fire main to three water storage tanks (10,000 gallons each ¿ total of 30,000 gallons) along with the associated valves and other appurtenances; re-set the pipe sleeves at the vertical pipe supports along the above ground section of the 8-inch diameter fire main; and adjust HDPE pipe expansion sleeves along the above ground section of the 8-inch diameter fire main. Project would replace two well pumps and motor assemblies at Soda Springs water distribution system. In addition to replacing the pumps and motor assemblies, this project will video log the existing well and perform a pumping and recovery test. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. This project is in support of Mojave National Preserve in San Bernardino County, California.
