The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a notice to the public of information applicable to the U.S. National Park Service (NPS) Office of its requirement for repair of damaged roof, walls, interior features and installation of a fire suppression system for Death Valley National Park¿s (NPS-DEVA) building CC50. Authority: NPS is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-Solicitation Notice. Description: NPS requires services from a contractor with the experience and technical capability to provide the aforementioned construction service above. All associated materials, labor, equipment and incidentals necessary to properly demolish and remove all structures, above ground utilities appurtenances, landscaping and debris from the site as defined the specification shall be included. Place of Performance: Death Valley National Park, Cow Creek Maintenance Area, 579 Cow Creek Service Road, Building CC50m Death Valley, CA 92328. Competitive Acquisition: It is anticipated that this will be a competitive acquisition set-aside for small business participation. Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance is 272 days from the notice to proceed (NTP) date. Release of the Solicitation: It is anticipated that the release of Solicitation No. 140P8121R0016 is anticipated to be released around June 21, 2021.
