The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a notice to the public of information applicable to the U.S. National Park Service (NPS) Office of its requirement for the demolition of Lake Mead Boulder Beach Lodge for Lake Mead National Recreation rea. (Lake Mead NRA). Authority: NPS is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-Solicitation Notice. Description: NPS requires services from a contractor with the experience and technical capability to provide demolition services for Lake Mead NRA. All associated materials, labor, equipment and incidentals necessary to properly demolish and remove all structures, above ground utilities appurtenances, landscaping and debris from the site as defined the specification shall be included. Place of Performance: Boulder Beach Lodge, Clark Count, Boulder City, NV 89005 (LAKE Mead NRA). Competitive Acquisition: It is anticipated that this will be a competitive acquisition set-aside for small business participation. Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance is 120 days from the notice to proceed (NTP) date. Release of the Solicitation: It is anticipated that the release of Solicitation No. 140P8121R0010 is anticipated to be released around May 18, 2021.
