The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a notice to the public of information applicable to the U.S. National Park Service (NPS) Office of its requirement for the replacement of Echo Bay Main and Launch Ramp Sewage Lift Stations and Replacement of Las Vegas Main Sewage Lift Station. Authority: NPS is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-Solicitation Notice. Description: NPS requires services from a contractor with the experience and technical capability to provide well drilling and construction services to install a new water well adjacent to existing wells and tie into the existing system. All associated water connections, valves, meters, electrical connections and support structure shall be included. Place of Performance: Echo Bay, Clark County, NV and Las Vegas Bay, located within Lake Mead National Recreation Area (LAKE NRA). Competitive Acquisition: It is anticipated that this will be a competitive acquisition set-aside for small business participation. Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance is (304) three hundred and four days from the notice to proceed (NTP) date. Release of the Solicitation: It is anticipated that the release of Solicitation No. 140P8120R0006 is anticipated to be released around May 15, 2020.
