THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL: The National Park Service intends to solicit a quote and enter into a contract with the Mobile Enterprises Inc located at 822 Southway CIR, Fort Worth, Texas 76115-4008, United States. This procurement is for the emergency structural repair and maintenance of a 100,000-gallon prestressed concrete Ground Storage Tank (GST) located at Padre Island National Seashore. Delays in this repair could result in health and safety risks due to potential water contamination, regulatory noncompliance with TCEQ and AWWA standards, fines, operational restrictions, disruptions requiring alternative water sources, increased costs and logistical challenges. Given the critical timeline and technical expertise required, competing this procurement would introduce unacceptable delays and risk noncompliance with TCEQ regulations. Sole-sourcing to Mobile Enterprises Inc ensures the most expedient and compliant resolution to these urgent repairs.
