PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Contracting Operations Central, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the re-point chimneys and other masonry work project for the Fort Scott National Historic Site in Fort Scott, KS. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to re-pointing of the exterior exposed brick chimneys and other masonry work on multiple buildings of the Fort Scott National Historic Site in Kansas. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6425B0011 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by June/July 2025 with performance to begin in late July 2025. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Bourbon County, KS will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238140, and the size standard is $19 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued and available in late May/June 2025 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities . The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have an UEI number. This market survey is not an invitation for bid (IFB), request for quote (RFQ), or request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. Offerors must be a small business concern of the type identified in the solicitation to be eligible for contract award. REGISTRATIONS: Offerors must have a Unique Entity ID and be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications by the time a solicitation closes to be eligible for contract award. Any information submitted in response to this market survey is voluntary and all costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the vendor.
