PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Contracting Operations Central, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the replace bollard lights project for the Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial National Historic Site in Put-in-Bay, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to Removing the existing 15 bollard lights and replace with new Bronze Metallic Hawthorne Path Lights or equal. The concrete strip is approximately 18 inches wide and 270 foot long. Remove the concrete and base material under the concrete with a new fully excavated 6” base course of ¾ minus aggregate. The existing conduits may be repaired and reused. All conduits will be fully sealed and waterproof. The contractor may reuse the existing wiring in the system but must ensure continuity between all points. All work will be completed under a single contract. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6424Q0041 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by late June/early July 2024 with performance to begin in July 2024. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Lake County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238210, and the size standard is $19 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued and available late May/early June 2024 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities . The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have an UEI number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date once the solicitation is posted.
